The candidate has read/seen an advertisement or proposal and must convince the examiner, who plays a skeptical friend/colleague/family member, to participate. The examiner is instructed to raise objections and doubts throughout and should not agree easily; the candidate must listen, acknowledge concerns, and counter-argue persuasively before reaching an agreement by the end of the exchange.
